Bad day for the daughter..just as her fiance is touching down in Khandahar comes the news thqat another Canuck soldier took one for the cause..brings the total to 83 killed so far in the south region fighting the Taliban..
Sad thing was the guy was a medic on a ' civilian-interface' mission and not a combattant.. the group was ambushed, unusual given that most of the attacks have been through the use of IED's.. still, cause for concern for the girl..as she works for three colonels, lots of tight lips and steeled jaws so she's trying not to give in when she's got to put on the professional officer face... not a good way to start a tour... Float like a Lepidoptera, Sting like a Hymenoptera |
