This has got to be a joke, right?

Retired US Army Colonel James Scott is the offical Pentagon " Chief Laughter Instructor "
a ' certified laughter-training specialist ' [ what is the line serial for this position? special courses at West Point?? ]

" I laugh every chance I get. That's why I'm blessed to work at the Pentagon where we definitely need a lot of laughter in our lives " says he.
He ' teaches ' National Guard families how to laugh..

" The guiding principle is to laugh for no reason " he explains..

teaching people to laugh..OMG!.. what does he do? March about hitting himself with a pie and slipping on banana peels.??

There I was , at the head of the old 68th...

Yeah, I read that in our Sunday paper. Well it must be true as I had a good chuckle out of it.

Wonder what they are paying him to do this work?

No, no, he doesn't do any of that. Didn't you read it?

"The guiding principle is to laugh for no reason."

I've done this a couple of times in my former line of work facing an adversary. Scares the hell out of them. It's a good thing.

I've followed the U.S. ARMY ASL motto from WSMR...

Look up and Laugh!

(works well in my field)

That statement makes you sound like a member of the Coast Guard...
