hello all,
just had a couple questions i was hoping to get answered: 1) I signed up for 4 years active/4 years reserve for the Navy, and if I decide to re-enlist during my time serving in the reserves, is there a lenghty process I would have to go through? How about if I decide to re-enlist after my total 8 year contract is up? Would I need to go back through basic training? 2) I was also wondering about educational benefits for spouses. My boyfriend and I are discussing getting married, and I was wondering if there would be any educational benefits available to him (after we were married of course) if he decided to go back to school for his Master's degree. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! |

1) Not really lengthy, just have to pass the physical and meet the criteria of the time. And no once you have gone through boot camp and do not have any broken service. 2) The educational benefit is for the service member only.
