Hey Everyone,
I was wondering I'm interested in joining the USMC and was thinking about one thing. For any non-American citizens joining the Corps would they be treated the same way as an American would be? in respect to training, camaraderie, etc. Basically are Canadians or any foreign citizens welcome in the USMC? Thanks for the help, Brandon |

I think you will be hazed and abused equally, and if someone says something about it the drills will punish the whole platoon vehminantly for discrimination and then go home and beat there wife becasue they are a crazy bunch of mother fers

Don't listen to the local psych case. Canadians (or any foreigner) can join provided they have a "green card" or permanent resident status in the USA. And, no, there is prejudice against foreigners who join...well no more than in any other profession or social encounter. There are shitheads everywhere. Most people will welcome you and serve with you regardless of origin.
