ive wondered this for a while now. im still deciding between the navy and the marines though.

No. You still have to complete the training. OCS and TBS for Marines. Equivalent training in the USN. You can enroll in NROTC and still choose to go Marine.

oh ok. thanks alot. well now im wondering, how do i get into Officer Candidates School? also, since OCS and TBS would make me an officer in the Marine Corps, would it make me an officer in the Navy?

TBS and OCS are specific to the USMC.
