My wife and I (mostly my wife) put together a historical display case in honor of Col Donald Cook (another MOH recipient who also has a ship named for him). The crew of the USS Donald Cook was invited to contribute and attend the unveiling. These guys were so cool and so into the history of the ship and namesake. They gave us all kinds of things for the display case and over a dozen members of the crew showed for the unveiling.

I hope the crew of the USS Jason Dunham take the same pride and interest in "their Marine" as the USS Donald Cook did.

They're an awesome crew with tremendous pride in their ship.
