Good day Marines....
I'm a new kid here and am still learning how to navigate and get acquainted with this site. I'm getting my Military Chronicles (ha) together and looking to finding some more info/pictures so I came hear to search out someone. Ok...I was at Hill 300 (Nong Son Mountain?) two times during my tour. A few miles W. of An Hoa as fire support for the Nong Son Coalmine. I am looking for Ray Taylor who was commander on Recon Mountain across the river from Hill 300 the night they were overrun on July 3, 1967. Newlin got the MOH that evening. I think it may have been 3rd Recon but am unsure. If anyone can guide my further I would be grateful. Any questions for me?..no prob. So...that is my inquiry. I thank anyone who was kind enough to read this novelette. Semper Fi Brothers we This message has been edited. Last edited by: chulaivet1966, |

MOH is something that is chronicled quite well, also, there are many battles documented about the war in many magazines and books. Look into those for your research if you still lack information.

Hey Harry....
Ohh...I've been to a million websites in the last 6 months. I've found some info and a few pictures but I continue digging. I have all the interesting info about Newlin and the MOH he received. Thanks for chiming in and a good day to you. SFB we |
