for those who are in MP or know someone? what is the rate for depoyment? are alot of MP sent over seas? or stay in the US on base?

FYI.....the word has been passed to all active duty Marines:

Each and EVERY Marine will serve combat tours in Iraq and or Afganistan.

The deployment rate varies by command. Marines can expect to be deployed on and off during thier enlistment.

It is not uncommon to have Marines that already have 3 tours over there.

All stateside Marine bases are in fact hiring civilian Police Officers in order to free up Marine MP's for duty in the combat theater of operations.
