Assembling a history project on Intel Marines KIA. Hoping to have a one page bio and photo of every one of them (WWII to present). If anyone has info or photos, would appreciate it.
WWII and Korea is what I'm hoping to get info on. Most of the "fairly" recent guys killed I have plenty of info on. Thanks, fulano_de_tal@mail.com |

Was the intel MOS called anything different during different times? I'm ignorant to intel generally but I'm a voracious reader and data miner so I'll put my antennae up.
Is there any difference between the S2 shop and the guys that train down at Ft. Huachuca? |

There is a list of these Marines on:
www.mcia-inc.org in the Roll of Honor. Some of the names are spelled wrong and I'm working on the corrections (I don't manage that site or have anything to do with it, I just submit to them corrections). I'm looking for one page bios and photos on these Marines (mostly the WWII and Korean War guys, most others from Vietnam on I've been able to contact friends/family, etc). Back in WWII they were simply called Intel Marines (sometimes Intel Scout or Interpreter, etc) until after the Korean War in the late 1950's they began to have MOS designators. Intel designators are 02XX except SIGINT which is 26XX. Only a few INTs are trained at Huachuca, most are trained in their own USMC schools in VA. Thanks for the help. DJ |
