Our brave men and women have been serving bravely in Iraq and Afghanistan
and around the world and now they are serving in our own country in
Louisiana, Mississippi and the Gulf Coast which has been hit so hard by
Hurricane Katrina. We are hearing that as many as 50,000 brave men and women
from all branches of the military are now deployed to the Gulf Coast. Many
of these troops have recently returned from Iraq or Afghanistan. Some of
them have not had much time with their families.

Over 90,000 square miles of our country in the Gulf Coast has been
devastated by this Natural Catastrophe. It may take even more than 50,000 of
our troops to come to the aid of the victims. America is uniting and showing
the fabric of our country as we did after 9/11 and after the Tsunami.

As we launch National Support Our Troops Day we want each person to know
that we are not asking for money. Donations should go to organizations who
are helping with this disaster such as The American Red Cross, The Salvation
Army, Samaritans Purse, Soldiers Angels and many other groups.

Many of our troops have been wondering if the American people do support
them. We feel that it is way overdue that our troops hear loud and clear
that the majority of the American people do in fact support them.

Therefore we are hereby announcing a National Support Our Troops Day event
on Sept 17th. We invite people to leave their politics at home and focus
100% on uniting nationwide with other Americans to publicly show ALL our
troops that we in fact as Americans do support them.

We invite people all across America to take just two hours out of their day
on Saturday Sept. 17th and show publicly in small and large groups that we
all thank them for their service.

Those of you receiving this email have an incredible opportunity to make
this National Event a big success.
We encourage each of you to do the following:

1. Go the new website http://www.calltothenation.com as soon as possible.

2. Make a decision to participate on this day and organize a small group of
people.. this could be your own family. Pick a visible location in your
community. This could be an overpass over a Highway, on the sidewalk of a
busy intersection near stores, a mall, etc. It could be near your home
within walking distance. It could be in a park, by the town hall or city
hall in your community.

Contact Ministries in your communities and Ministries that you work with.
Ministries could make a decision as a Congregation to show their support by
inviting members of their Congregation to go out on the sidewalks right
around your Ministry. You could contact homes and busineses around you and
encourage them to come out and join with you. Ministries could have a
visible presence over many blocks in their communities. Should the majority
of Ministries alone respond to this National Call we would have thousands of
Support Our Troops Public Events take place all over America.

Contact as quickly as possible your local Veterans Groups. Veterans across
America and their families will want to take part in this important day.

To our Soldiers: You can help in a big way. When you have the time please
contact your families, friends and supporters and let them know about this
important day. We know time is precious for you and we are grateful for any
help you can be in getting the word out.

Apartment Complexes and Home Communities could join together and gather on
sidewalks in their areas. Organizations, Schools, Colleges, Government
Agencies, and more could take part in this national event.

3. Make a decision as quickly as possible that you will make some signs that
say "We Support Our Troops" or "Thank You To Our Troops". This is not about
politics. Our focus is 100% on supporting our troops.

4. Post your event information on our website http://www.calltothenation.com so
that others can see it.

We would like to have as many events listed as possible before our National
News Releases go out on Wednesday this week so people can see them.

5. Contact your local Police Department and let them know what you are
doing. Please keep these events on sidewalks or in parks and not on roads
themselves. This is not an event to disrupt or cause problems. Contact your
Mayors and Government Officials.

Some communities may want to declare Sept 17, 2005 National Support Our
Troops Day.

6. Contact your local media. This is very important. This is an opportunity
for the majority of Americans.. the "silent majority" to collectively
provide New News for the Media to report that will 100% show our brave men
and women serving around the world that America does in fact support them.

7. For those of you who will help us get the word out Please do so as
quickly as possible. For those of you who have supporters, members, etc.
please take this email and customize it with your message and send it out as
quickly as possible. We have already been told that over 500,000 people will
get this email this week. Lets get the word out to millions of people.

National Support Our Troops Day is not about us, YoungHeroes, or Soldiers
Angels.. it is about all of us as Americans uniting in a grassroots movement
to let our troops around the world know that in fact the majority of the
American people do support them. This is about all of us!
