McKinney, Texas—Icon Construction (Icon Construction) announced today the completion of construction of a 3,500 square foot modular hotel for the Albuquerque VA hospital located adjacent to Kirtland AFB. The eight room facility will be used by families of veterans who are being treated at the VA hospital there. The design/build turnkey project was completed within four months from notice to proceed.

Icon Construction is the nation’s only 8(a) modular firm with its own manufacturing facility. The firm is veteran and Native American owned. Their manufacturing facility located in Durant, Oklahoma gives the company SDB and HUB Zone status with the SBA.
