YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, MILITARYAVENUE.COM HAS ANSWERS

New Q&A website, launched by MilitaryAvenue.com this month, provides a much needed resource for the military community.

Grand Rapids, MI – October 16, 2008 – Today MilitaryAvenue.com launches its latest project Military Answers MilitaryAvenue.com/Answers, a Web 2.0 question and answer forum that provides a platform for the military community to exchange pertinent information unique to the military lifestyle.
“If Web 1.0 was about disseminating information on the Web for computer users to consume, Web 2.0 is about empowering those consumers to disseminate their own information...” says Clint Boulton in a May edition of eWeek magazine.
MilitaryAvenue.com/Answers empowers members of the military community to help one another by tapping into each other’s individual knowledge and experience. The website is organized so that users can ask questions on general topics like, “How do I join the Army,” or “What moving company offers the best cross country value?” Users can also ask questions related to a specific military installation like, “What is the best pizza place near Fort Bliss?” or “Where are the best schools near Lackland Air Force Base?” Once a question is asked, anyone with relevant information can respond. The platform allows for multiple responses to provide a well rounded answer to each question.
“What one person doesn’t know, someone else usually does. The problem can be finding that person. MilitaryAnswers.net provides individuals direct access to the collective knowledge of the entire military community and organizes it in a user friendly way” says Dan Kissinger, CEO of MilitaryAvenue.com.
Another benefit is that in today’s fast paced world, key information can change in an instant. MilitaryAvenue.com/Answers offers a flexible and easily updated platform so that military personnel can receive the latest, most accurate information available.

Leveraging the a Network
The law of co-creation posits that two working together in co-creative action have the power of four working individually, and three working in co-creative activity have the power of nine. Whether or not this has been proven quantifiably, it is a fact that the more people participating in a network the greater its value. If you would like to help build the network, you can register by going to MilitaryAvenue.com/Answers. You don’t have to be in the military to join. In fact, MilitaryAnswers encourages anyone with expertise relevant to a military question to join and become an “expert”. Experts receive email updates when new questions are asked in their category of expertise. This helps keep the community vibrant.

MilitaryAvenue.com/Answers Sponsorship Provides Advertisers a Lucrative Marketing Platform
MilitaryAvenue.com, the parent company of MilitaryAnswers.net, helps businesses of all sizes conduct high impact marketing programs to a large and consistent audience. According to the Military Times Media Group, the average household income of active duty military personnel in 2003 was $79,308. With 1.4 million active duty personnel and the 702,000 civilian workforces, these military families command $110 billion in annual spending power, representing a lucrative audience for local and national advertisers. This $110 billion total, however, dramatically underestimates the positive financial impact that military bases have on their communities, because it doesn’t include the spending from military contractors, military veterans, and the U.S. government’s own spending on local goods and services.
MilitaryAvenue provides several opportunities for local and national merchants and service providers who want to serve the active duty military personnel. Listing upgrades, sponsorship and advertising opportunities can be found by visiting http://www.militaryavenue.com/AdvertiseWithUs.aspx or by calling 1-877-425-9992.

About MilitaryAvenue LLC (MilitaryAnswers.net parent company)
