I have something like that in my trunk..blankets, first aid kit, food, water..don't have flashlight/batteries tho..will after tomorrow, that is for sure..can't believe I overlooked that one...

If you look around enough, you can find a radio/flashlight combo that can be charged with an integral crank or solar panel. That way you dont have to worry about needing your flash light just to find out the batteries popped.

I have one of those at the house already..for now tho..the car does have flashlight and battery operated radio in it..will get a hand cranked radio for the car when I can.

I have 3 big flight cases ready to just grab and drag either into one of my Land Rovers, or bring inside the house.
It has everything we need as a family to survive for 4 months. We constanly top up, and rotate stock when we go on camping trips. Train Hard, Fight Easy. |

This looks good for $30 bucks. Idea is you shake it to light and it never needs batteries. Anybody had any hands on? Think I'll get one to check out.

I've seen the ads on those..but I believe that if something seems too good to be true it usually is..but if you get one let us know how they work, ok?
