Because the user’s daytime optic is unchanged, sight settings and reticles remain identical.

ATS5000 Thermal Weapon Sight manufactured by Aurora Tactical, LLC. incorporates 25µm (1 mil) Vanadium Oxide (VOx) microbolometer-based uncooled thermal imaging technology, offering day/night reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition for individual and crew-served weapons as well as other man-portable applications. It includes display automated gray scale optimization, on-screen symbology, operator programmable symbology configuration, operator selectable reticle and 4-button/6-position keypad for control. It weighs under 3 pounds and has a wide field of view of 1270 meters and a narrow field of view of 1625 meters.
