But there falling apart and at the boy scout camp i was woking at last smmer, there was an x mairne there who had boots he told me had steel shanks in them, i was hooked, he had the hot weather with drain holes, he said the same company made a winter/cold weather style of the boot that was very insulated and had the shank in it still. So ive been looking around, and while i dont think i found the pair he was talking about, i realize i would like the most bad ass military boots out there, steel plate and shanmk, possible non metali safty toe, then i found these under the search and resque section http://www.chiarmy.com/IBS/SimpleCat/Product/asp/hierar...uct-id/25892184.html
they have alot of stuff but i dont know if theyre very tactical boots, as is, would the military be OK with them, i do plan on going to the AFA after high school. Anywho, i wanted opinions on what you guys think the best military boots is, hot weather or jungle or winter. But i do like full leather. anyway, sorry this is hasty, thnaks for your help.

Boots being accepted is usually a base or command SOP decision, not an overarching "military" decision. What's accepted in special forces is different than what's accepted on a flight line, or the infantry, etc.

So, the answer is my favorite one; "It depends".

Blackhawk makes some nice tactical boots, though they are a little expensive in my opinion.

The Danner Acadia/ USMC Battalion are both strong boots with great military tactical application. They come in goretex temperate and desert hot styles, black and tan.

If you can get any pair of boots i'd have to recommend the ones i've had a while that are the best ive ever worn.
