yeah, I have always looked upon the Coast Guard as our nations life savers first and foremost. At least that all I have ever seen them do.

I saw them in Vietnam take on Trawlers and other shallow water VC boats and completely wipe them out the USCG was very successuful in close support against coastal VC supplies and also in the deeper waters of the Delta.
