and suddenly everyone is dumping their gas guzzler SUV's Pick-ups and Hummers and switching to hybrid Corn Oil sucking Smart Cars..right?[ I mean if Ford and GM are closing plants and laying off thousands, things must be really bad..what's worse the shareholders are hit with a double whammy as they voted in a slate of execs who didn't see this coming despite all the yelling and indicators from around the world...]

We're paying $ 1.35 per litre and its going up as summer demand grows and we're being hosed by the oil copmpanies who are shipping it all south to the USA 'cause of NAFTA agreements [ Canada is now the US' No.1 supplier of oil ] though the tree huggers are bitchin' because its' dirty oil ' from the tar sands which is killing off purty migratory birds when they land in the tailing ponds...

Guess we'd better let the American economic machine collapse to save our feathered friends and just use the gas for ourselves..Got to keep the tanks topped up on our skidoos while we can still hunt polar bears what with the arctic melting and all.

Nice of Dubya to put the bears on the ' endangered list' so that we're spared American hunters coming up here and spending an average of $ 45 grand to pop one in the head with their scoped rifles...
