I saw it and was making light of the logic in questioning jarhed's service, and mocking their TOU enforcement.

I believe it goes like this: 5pak is selling woof tickets on AB Dad; jarhed questions him; jarhed's questioning 5pak inspires mikey to mock jarhed's service; jarhed gets a warning, but mikey gets off scottfree.

Farty loves to gripe about people dishonoring veterans or currently serving members but has no problem with mikey mocking the service of jarhed. On top of that, Farty still thinks he is a mod.

The hypocrisy of mil.com is thriving just as much as its constant error messages!

With few exceptions, they only know me from what I wished to show and I only know them the same way. In real life situations, the dynamic would be far different.

I would likely exchange kind greetings with any of them and they me....or even share drinks and a story or two....or just nod in passing.

This is the Internet. Flesh and blood human beings do NOT define their existance by such. Do I spend a great amount of time online? Yes I do.

Where I choose to go, how long I am on a site and whom I choose to converse with within the law is none of anyone's damn business.

In other words...you don't really know me, nor I you.

LOL, you two are pretty right on, however, between the two places, I'm going crazy. I'm seriously getting tired of those people coming here and pointing fingers, making accusations and acting like children. And I will say the same thing happens in converse. I've assumed that these people are what they say they are. Maybe I'm assuming too much. I thought these people were really veterans, adults, and had some sensibilities. All I am seeing is childish banter. I found it delightfully humorous that Fate locked the thread over there. Being in the great white frozen tundra of the upper midwest, there is little enjoyable for me to do during the winter.

That's why some 'Troll Out'...one post will get you 20 replies from the same people...you can stay and read the ensuing arguments or you can leave.

Childish? Certainly. I have been both sides of that fence and have to say that I think the ones who respond and play that game with the same generic insults are on about the same childish level...

But then I always was an imp...the kind of kid who threw rotten tomatoes or even strings of firecrackers at cars....or pulled pranks. Did I get caught? Sure I did. Did I take my punishment? Sure I did. Would I do some of that stuff again? Not at my age. But tweeking people into predictable reactions on a message board does NOT elevate to high treason. It was fun for a bit. And so was ganging up and pursuing those who did it.

But blanket parties get tiring after awhile.
