Hey Rocketeer,
Sorry if that bothered you buddy. I do work in education, but I'm not trying to sell you anything, just find out what areas of study interest our servicemen and women most. That's all. If you want to answer the question, I'll appreciate it, if you don't, no worries. Peace, and be safe brother. |

Cosmo:
No worries..I just like to jump in and toss a bit of dog doodoo about from time to time to stir things up...it stimulates the debate.. I suppose there's a lot of activity in the security bidniss these days and high demand for experienced folk fresh out of service.. [ Haliburton can't hire everyone ] And grunts sure don't acquire a lot of ' bidniss management ' skills [ unless they're dabbling in the ' off ' market while on stag and down time LOL ] so I guess skills updating and training comes in handy when returning to civvie street...so I've no problem with the questions you posed.. just struck me as too much a ' late night TV infomercial approach ' and I couldn't pass up the jibe.. welcome to the site..See Gunny to find out how much you owe to the beer fund.. There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |

I guess it did sound a little 'Late Night'...
On a serious note, if you are looking to update your skills and training someday, I can point you in the right direction, but I don't want to come off with a pitch, I'm a counselor, not a salesman... LOL In the meantime, I think I'll stick to the beer fund... |

Ha!!.. update my skills?? Not much call for old grumps who learned to write by scratching stone on slate..and I don't think I have the patience to get back into ' formal studies ' [ though I have a friend who went back to University as a ' mature student ' to get a second degree ]
actually I spend a good portion of my day in study as a researcher and writer so I think I'm okay with the bit of alaphabet I already have attached to my business card after the surname [ LOL ] ..unless you have a ' distance education programme ' for rebuilding computers after you've kicked the sh*t out of them for ' freezing' just when you're pushing the Print Function and all that spews out looks like Greek/Cyrilic upside down and backwards.... a good day is one where I don't take the No. 10 ballpeen to the side of the 'puter.. There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |
