I looked around and couldn't find where anyone had this information up. Did we over look it...or do we just not care?
WASHINGTON -- Condoleezza Rice took the oath yesterday as the 66th secretary of state and vowed to use American diplomacy to spread democracy across the world. "We do not simply seek the absence of terrorism," Rice told a welcoming audience in the State Department's formal dining room. "We seek a world where the aspirations for freedom of men and women triumph." Full story here. Personally, I think she can do a good job. The question is, will she? Time will tell. She is qualified, and proved herself as NSA. I think she will do a fine job. Question is; how much will she carry in a country where their culture doesn't respect women in high authority positions?
