If Sarah Lee wants to charge that much for her bread, then she has a right to do so. If she does, she also has a right to go out of business too after people quit buying it and buy cheaper bread. Gas companies aren't pointing a gun at anybody and telling them to go to the pump and buy gas. They offer a product/service - you offer payment for that service, don't do business with them, or commit larceny. Plain and simple. Raising taxes on oil companies or regulating them more is going to do the opposite of helping people afford it. Any cost they incur from it is going to be passed on to the consumer, and you can't just tell gas companies they can't sell this much per gallon. The Saudis and Venezuelands are the ones setting the oil prices, and regulating price would be like asking the gas companies to not make a profit. The main goal for any company is to make a profit, something all these commies in Washington don't understand.
