I have been looking at the price of fuels in the US, as a truck driver I have to buy diesel at the cheapest price I can find on the road trips I take. That said it ain't easy to find. I was out in Little Rock, Ar and bought $300.00 worth it got me 87 gallons. I heard last night on the news that we have about 65 million barrels under ground in and between Fl. and Cal. and Canada and Mexico are #1 and #3 on the list of where we get our oil from. That begs the question that if we are trying to get away from buying oil from the middle east why are we not going after what we have here. Putting more oil from the middle east on the market is not doing what needs to be done. I guess I am just ranting or venting but what the hell is going on here in the US? Are we just sheep to be led by the nose of the clowns we elect. IMO we are the only ones that are stupid enought to go along with the idea that we will be fine as long as the clowns in DC know what is best for us. AH hell just venting again.

I was not going to say anything but what the hell. ASSCLOWN when you go to to the store to get the things you need or want who do you think brings it there? People like me and the other people that pay for the fuel so you can wipe your ass with toilet paper. Or the granny rags your old lady (if you can find one) uses. Or the milk kids need, oh by the way the fuel you get at the corner station.

We do this 24 hours aday every damn day so assclowns like you don't cry about not haveing the things you need or desire.

rettardo

Why do you have to be such a rude idiot? Were you born with a silver harmonica in your mouth, and how many miles can you stretch a short stay at a boot camp into? Talk about a whole bunch of GAS eh? You seem to run on REAMS and REAMS of BS.

It's because he's retardo. He rinses his ass with oil and it goes up north when he buttfingers himself.

Sorry if this seems really disgusting, but I'm sitting here on about 5 hours sleep and lots of beer from last night.

Like it or not, America is still a free market (sort of). If companies want to charge twenty a gallon for their product, that is up to the stockholders. Gas prices are high because...

(1. because they can
(2. high demand, increased further by China and India
(3. Look at the vehichles on the road in almost every American city... what do you see?

If we all want lower gas prices, everyone is going to have to get over this obsession with big vehichles, but that won't happen unless people as a whole want to. If some people are so insecure about about their "image" that they feel they need a bigger vehichle, that is their right. They'll see reason though when gas does hit twenty a gallon, and start thinking twice about laughing at those those Geo Metros on the road. Even if everybody starts driving economy vehichles, which is unlikely, we need to convince the big oil to stop making as much money as they can... but it won't matter if you're getting 50 to the gallon, will it? Those who can afford to still drive their Hummers after that, more power to them. The bottom line is that people now want extravagance and "status," and people feel that others care what they drive at the end of the day. The desire to be frugal and conservative among most is going away. If people want extravagance and want to worship their cars more than they do our Lord, then they have to be willing to pay for it.

Thats not true and not right. Oil is not a risky cornfield that depends on the weather to seal it's market price. Considering the BILLIONS spent on the oil companies as a whole should if anything provide them more stability. There is plenty of oil on the planet and everybody is willing to pay for it too. So this whole thing is bullcrap. China and India did not just start buying more last year etc,. It's just one of those silly jokes that everybody more or less expects without even thinking about it. I don't think any other product could get away with the BS that crappy oil does. Imagine getting a loaf of bread at 2 bucks and then the next week it's 5.50. Imagine a week later it's back down to 50 cents and then goes up yet again to 8 bucks. Nobody would except that. But with oil? Ohhhhh, it's a very very complex top secret thing that's very hard to make. The whole thing is a idiotic scam that tends to " bulk up " right before summer and then fade away by October.
