The basic problem is that some folks take Coulter too seriously. Being the showwoman she is, she understands it and plays on it and makes her public image as provocative as possible.

Controversy sells. You can't say she's boring no matter what political persuasion you are.

I know she makes a rake of money out of being a rent-a-ranter, but that doesn't mean I have to admire her for pitching her lowest common denominator drivel at the lumpen masses. God forbid she uses her brain to educate people...
