I don't know if y'all get Link TV or not, but they've been running a documentary called, "Healing the Broken Places," and it's about Max going around doing what he can for the amputees coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's pretty moving and gives you a whole new perspective on the guy.

RE: I was sure isloated that day in the LZ! All my friends took and left me out there all alone (poor me) and later, when I caught up with them, admitted they hadn't even noticed I was missing. You'd think they would've at least missed their frags!

I actually stayed out in that LZ until the next lift came in, which seemed like a week, and I had to wave off a chopper which was about to land on me. I grabbed the first guy out by the feet and held on until he consented to pull me out.

Thx for the pic Cedar! I think Ann is a trip! She is definitely "over the top", but less so than Moore or Franken - so I don't know how ANYONE can complain about her! Clean your own house first then come talk to us about Ann!

As long as you look at her stuff as entertainment and not "news", she's no problem or at least not anymore than several of the ultra-liberals that were mentioned (like Dowd and Franken)!

I'll never forget how hard she had me laughing when she was talking about Canada! She was saying stuff like "they are lucky we let them share a border with us!" ... had me cracking up!
