Naomi Wolf has a book out about how America is on it's last leg. The good news for her is that she lives in a country which allows that silly type of thinking. People such as her base this not on WORLD HISTORY, but on their own lifespan. She is stuck at the end of a self-created chronology which cannot be formed. I think I actually know why she and her buddies feel this way : The speed of the computer age etc,. People such as her have more bookmarks than they have the time on the planet. To make matters worse, they have set up accounts on one too many social networking sites. Since she is a writer she is more screwed up than most, because she has to update all of her crap just to keep on the tracks. Her DEAD AMERICA is someone elses PRIDE and JOY. If she has a bug itch and calls 911 they will show up just as they do with everybody else who called. At least she won't have to worry about The Earps showing up with " Doc " Holliday. Come this weekend kids will be out with mom or dad playing football or baseball, just as I did all those years ago. Perhaps what is really ending is what she believes in? And what is it anyhow? Everybody always thinks they lived in the best of times.
