Well, I think its a shame that they are sending our troops over there with "sub-par" equipment. I mean you would think that they would at least be able to provide everyone the right equipment, but I guess not. As far as people complaining about the stop-loss, well that's a different story.

While I am not in the service yet, nor have I spent a day in the life of an "American Troop" I don't understand why these people are so mad. What I mean is, I can see why they would be upset for having to stay longer that expected or being called up from the IRR, but they knew that when they signed. When I went to MEPS they told me about the 8 year total obligation.

When I join the military, if I have to be re-called from IRR or stay in-service longer than what I signed, I am sure I would be upset, but I wouldn't have room to complain as I signed the contract!! This may all change ONCE I AM IN the military, but this is how I feel at this point in time.

Yea your right amvet he does has guts, but wait how much guts does it take to ask the questions that your given by a newspaper reporter? The only reason the Sp/4 asked them was because the reporter was not allowed to ask, by the way the kid was promped with the questions that he asked.

his gf was interviewed and she told reporters that he had planned on asking the question regardless, just that the reporter phrased it for him is all.

You should get some help phrasing your lies- they might come out as more convincing.
