the Missus will be home on leave from her posting, the kids and grandkids will descend upon us to eat us out of house and home to ' celebrate' our anniversary [ # 36 BTW ] and then everyone will leave come Monday with me holding the broom, the cartons of empties and a dog who won't stop farting 'cause the wee'uns fed him all the 'goodies' under the table. joy and bliss.. The Lesbians living next door gave me a Rolex. I think they misunderstood when I said " I wanna watch. " |

Happy Labor Day to everyone and to our men and women in Harms way ,in the Stan and Big Sandy (Iraq)
Some of you mentioned your wives keeping you busy ,when you lose your wife to illness ,then you know how much you really loved her and wish you had never complained about those Honey Do lists ,my wife of 45 years (My Earth Angel ,Jeri) passed in 4 and 1/2 days 0600 22 July 07 ,Ovarian Cancer ,ask your wives and daughters to be tested for the Virus that could take them in a Heart Beat ,HPV. Happy Labor Day.
Our pool pump went out three weeks ago. Replacement parts (which, of course, had to be special ordered) FINALLY came in Fri. When it's not freakin' raining, I'm out cleaning the pool, which I'm pretty sure has evolved some life form in the deep end. Not fun. But at least I'm not deployed? |
