I joined up on Milspot.net just to see if there would be any opportunity for stimulating debate/correspondence..

Sadly.. all I got was three offers to be ' my friend' from anonymous [ suspect?] ladies whose ' literary/English' skills lead me to believe that they are, perhaps, not native to North America/ The Colonies/Commonwealth..

They seem friendly, enough, though, and have offered me some interesting 'inducments' to be part of their online lives..

A bold move, I must say, as I have posted no ' bio/picture' ;so they must be gleaning insights into my brilliance and handsomeness merely from reading my posts, which, of course, does elevate them into a certain status, I must admit..
curiously, in responding to their entreaties to get to know me better, they have yet to reply, and it has been some time..

I can only assume that one or more of you has secretly alerted these potential ' friends' to my proclivities to thwart these relationships before they ' bloom ' and I wish that you would cease and desist immediately!!

I'm afraid I'll be reduced to ' unblocking' reppearso or having to read TomZart drivel to get my daily fix of Milspot and that is driving me to drink to excess ---- wait... not a bad thing ..really... I can live with that ...hold on...no, no.. a bad thing, as it means I'm drawn to opening TyPhoon's many Youtube postings only to be disappointed with the lame and mundane stuff that seems to excite and motivate his sad, sad life..

Somewhere in Ifrika! Despite living on this silly excuse of a continent, I'm not 100% sure if it's in western, northern or eastern africa. :\

I too, have been invited to "be friends" with young Asian women ("so sorry for the bad english")...and that's the only activity I see going on there.

Which is probably why I hit "show post" when I know I shouldn't.....

Post your links of whatever, we've all had that discussion with you. Most of them are entertaining. A short discriptive narrative would be greatly appreciated by most of us in here. Clicking on blind links while at work can be unhealthy for job security if you can relate to that? Or should we just trust your judgement that you aren't going to post a link in here that won't get us fired, or in trouble with our significant other?

By the way, the photo of the day is highly desired by the large majority of members in here.

How did you come to that conclusion? First off I own my own company and I leave no links here that could get anybody in trouble. Secondly it was the Rocketeer that dedicated ( very sarcastic ) an entire thread to the photo of the day, thats why I wrote what I wrote. He also concluded that I lead some supposed sad life which struck me as odd. Considering his every other post is about booze ( which I find boring ) I concluded his life must be lacking. Simple and NO BUGS up my arse.

ok, reckon you just don't know Rocketeer like I do. He and I and a few others in here go back for years, and in a virtual community or medium such as this one, that's saying alot.

I'll take your word on the links, but would still appreciate some sort of narrative. If you could take a wee bit of time it would be greatly appreciated.

To help you understand about military folks and booze, we have had to serve in locations for extended periods of time without any booze. The vast majority of our good memories revolve around booze...mostly because it helps us deal with some of the really bad things that have happened or we had to make happen.

Did you know that Rocketeer's entire family is currently serving or is well on the way to doing so? (#3 son)

I got no problems with anybody and actually like Rocketeer, but that did tick me off that he included me in one of his threads about the site going down the drain. I used to visit Strategypage, but that was more or less dedicated to CIV3 or some other Military Computer game and then there was the always nutty Military.com in which GreenHat ( a mod ) more or less barged in on everybody until he and we all went insane. To imagine that he would more or less read every thread from all 5000 of us at any given time is kind of odd.

As for my predeliction for the firewater..let's just say that, while I enjoy a good tipple, I tend to exagerate my dependence [ that being said, I never say no to an offer of a free pour.. most impolite ya know ]

But, back to the topic of this thread...I seem to have acquired some groupies who all want to ' get to know me better'. Despite my not having posted any ' profile or photo ' they have discerned by inner beauty and discovered my magnificent manly physique through, I can only presume to be a ' psychic link ' and want me even more..


though, I suspect it may be they have heard I recently won the UK-Thailand Internet Lottery. Apparently I am to collect $ 14.1 million US as soon as I send them the details of my bank account so they can make the deposit [ though I don't understand why, if it is a UK-Thailand thing, the ' agent' is in Hong Kong ]...

Typhoon: I know. I stay out of the other sites for that same reason. This one is home to the regulars in here, and my best advice is to not take things too personally. I do my level best to not post things when I'm angry or mad about something said in here. Although a certain member makes that very difficult at times. Even with him I try to abide by not posting responses in anger or in retaliation.
