Lieutenant General![]() Registered: 03 October 2007 Posts: 4094 | This is The United States Of Jokeland considering all the BS these past few years. The wars we fight have been re-named and re-fought for different reasons and nobody seems to care anymore thanks to the media. All the media does is fault America for using such scary words as " Crusade " etc,. Then along comes WW2 almost every single Sunday night. We fight this war through WW2. Our troops don't but the media does. So sit back and watch Hitler in HD starting yet another war over and over and over again. I just tossed-up a new link to a doc on the dope 1 day ago! As for our borders you can forget about that too. People leave their country for a reason, and eventually the reason arrives itself. Once here, there are no reasons for reason. |

Brits just 'out the walt' in the press and beat 'em up in an alley. As for us Canucks.. everyone knows we hand out so few medals, even to those who most deserve them that anyone saying that they won a VC/MC/GC or other 'valour' medal gets laughed under the table and then wakes up pantsless in an alley with a beer bottle where the sun don't shine...a rare occasion in itself and worth more beer and tall tale telling of how that happened. It may be ' legal' to pretend to have more medals than a John Wayne movie but public humiliation and ridicule still trumps a win at court. Politicians, like diapers, should be changed often, and usually for the same reasons. |

If a fella is pretending to be a soldier and the Supreme Court tags it as a form of free speech, how is it a form of free speech? If some loon pretends to be a soldier and it's " O.K. ", then I figure the fake ID's are O.K. too right? If it is then the lady on my link can wear her vail as well, right? Why does the Supreme Court wear those stupid black robes? Who started that silly idea? Is it a display of freedom of speech? If so how so? By dressing the same they kind of prove they don't practice what they preach. Using their logic I suppose they can dress up as Superman or Bozo the frown right? |

I can't say I blame anyone but the posers. If it weren't for the United States Military, There'd be NO United States of America! | "Dozy Old Fat Git" Brigadier General ![]() Registered: 16 February 2005 Posts: 2495 | There is, in common law, the right of people to' pose' as others -this covers actors, tribute artists and such-otherwise all the Elvis impersonators would be in trouble. The criminal aspect comes into play when the poser claims to be the other person [ identity theft ] or uses the 'fake' info to obtain a benefit. This would class claiming to have a medal not earned in the same category as claiming a degree or other certificate from an institution as a means to obtaining a job or promotion or other tangible benefit... Under law here, it can be used in the reverse, too, such as a person having HIV or AIDS not disclosing to a sex partner the fact that they are positive to 'trick' them into sex... so hiding info or claiming false info can be a criminal act.. as a 'benefit' is obtained by fraud. If, in the case of Stolen Valour -it can be proven that the claimant received a benefit he would not have normally be entitled to or expected if he had not made a claim of medals, then fraud , I think.. but, if he just swaggers about and says he's got the MOH and no one challenges him, then maybe he could claim he was just 'acting' or something and that's free expression??? Seems to me, if claiming he got a MOH gets him free beer at a pub, then that's fraud and worthy of court for 'impersonation for criminal intent' as he got an unearned tangible benefit through lying. Aw, hell.. Since the court says its okay.. then just beat the creep up..claim free expression of your fists and the pursuit of happiness -it made you feel better to whack the nut. Politicians, like diapers, should be changed often, and usually for the same reasons. |
Lieutenant General![]() Registered: 03 October 2007 Posts: 4094 | Just goes to show that dummies can become Supreme Court zeros. This is how freedom is and will be eventually lost ( if not already ) in America. Pitter-Patter dumbo lawsuits that are actually considered by the Supreme Dorks. I'd love it if somebody tossed-up a case for their reason for relativity. I'd love to watch them debate why they think they get the last word on " STUPID ". I suspect when one of these fake soldiers runs into a Walmart and starts screaming that we are under attack and that leads to pandemonium, some lawsuits might start calling for term limits on those old A-Holes. |

The Supreme Court ruled on that. If it weren't for the United States Military, There'd be NO United States of America!
