I went to the State Fair of Texas today and there was a display of electric mountain bikes. They had a military model. The spokesperson said that spec ops units can be landed by helo miles from a target. The spec ops people whiz to their target silently at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. I think that for tooling around this is a fine bike but for the military it is not that good an idea, as I look at the picture of the bike there is not enough speed if you need to evade. I just don't see this as a part of a combat ops. Sorry

Some of the early prototypes were tested in various environments, some were camouflaged to try to blend in, and conceal the operative.

I remember 30m forced marches carrying loads that got heavier with every step. A bike would have looked better than Vanessa Del Rio at the time.
