Is there or will there be a section on this site for heated debate and/or outright brawls?

A place to settle differences, call someone out, or challenge their bullshit, i.e. military experience or awards. This would help keep other areas cleaner, allow members a place to vent, and the challenged party doesn't HAVE to show if they don't want to.

You can 'call out' anyone you want, but I will NOT be a part of it. Heated debate on issues fine, but anything personal, no, I am not going there on this site.

amvet, like I said in my initial post, in a forum like I suggested, you wouldn't be required to respond to a challenge. If you did respond, I'd pray for you.

Yep, there is a spot for debate. There is also a place for off-topic conversations, which is great, as it should keep the debate thread relatively free of extraneous crap. What has happened to P/CP is that it has become a catch-all for just about everything.

I don't think it will be as 'lively' here as some of us are used to until membership increases AND more people are participating. When that happens, it should be all about the debating, hopefully minus the crap! But I'm ever the optimist. I see that we have some 'live wires' amongst us here, which should make for some fun situations ahead!

As far as heated debates go, no there isn't a SPECIFIC place for it. It's not really encouraged, but is allowed to a certain extent. If you want to question someone's service or medals they are claiming, then for now, bring it to this thread! Please, please don't bog down the P/CP topic at hand, in which the questioning began, with arguements. At the end of one of your posts, if you want, you can "direct" the person you have beef with here. If they show up, fine. If not, well...

Don't let things get TOO personal. You can have heated discussions about things people are claiming to have or have done, but when it starts to have name calling and/or setting up a time and place for brawls, take it to E-Mail or PM.

FivePaknh...Calling someone out? The other things you mentioned? Huh, are you one of the Perfumed Primadonnas who were allowed to do such things on "dat other site"? LOL
