Sorry to appear to be spamming the boards, but this is most definitely a "must see" on HBO !!

Check your HBO listings, it will be on again at 2300 CDT tonight, 0315 CDT tomorrow, 0615, 1900, & 2000(Thursday) and later on during this week.

It shows how a dirty bomb, terrorist cells, and the west's reaction towards the consequences of a detonated dirty bomb. It's made by the BBC. It seems to be so accurately done that it truly scared me. Definitely worth watching !!

Here I thought this thread was on the continuing drama of 'As The Boards Turn'.

This is scary stuff......radiological devices....bad juju.

there aren't that many people that can say that, that is for sure..not even me..live within 60 miles of both Muskogee, with it's port, and McAlestor, with it's Army weapons depot..(sigh)..even here out in the supposed boonies..not so far from 'civilization' after all..

Amvet, northern OK may be a target of opportunity for a regular war, but I seriously doubt that it would be for a terrorist attack. The terrorists want to do their deeds someplace that it will have a MASSIVE impact. OKC, maybe. Dallas, possibly. NYC, still on the list. See where I'm going with this?? It's the major urban areas that are too busy to truly pay attention and if they are paying attention, the terrorists are two steps ahead just because of the size. By air, I only live 40 mile from Minneapolis. That concerns me. The Mall of America has been a suspected target since before 9/11. They want to cause major disruption and major death/ illness. That's why NYC was hit twice and propbably will be again.

I recall the drills for nuke missiles when I was growing up. I lived right outside Perrin AFB,(now Grayson County Airport), a tactical fighter/ training base. It's almost directly in between Dallas and OKC. I still remember the drills, "Duck & cover"
