The photos I looked at do not apear to have been taken very close to time of death. Hard to tell the circumstances under which they died. Were they combatants? Caught in the crossfire? Killed by Coalition?

Curious they do not show the results of the kidnappings here or the Contractors hanging from the bridge, or civillians saved and or treated humanely.
I have a major problem with these web sites. They are far from objective and do not believe everything a caption leads you to believe.

remember......all non-combatants were given opportunity to evacuate the city on numerous occasions prior to the Marines going in. After that it essentially became a free-fire zone. If they stayed, it was becuase they supported the insurgents. That's my take on it. If an insurgent was shot while sleepin...so what? Should they have let them go an get a gun first?
