Now, since the new TOU went into effect after many of us were already members....and having agreed to the OLD TOU, not the new one, this sounds like 'Ex Post Facto' to me...

An example of how this place is looking to be run from now on.

I consider the new TOU null and void as I did not agree to it at the time of starting my membership.

Read the new TOU you never agreed to.

Seems pretty odd that threads are mysteriously removed, people banned for posts violating post facto TOUs that they never agreed to, etc. I wonder how this would look to a lawyer?? Hmmm, maybe........ but of course, I wonder why Mods get fired from one place and they assert themselves as mods in a new place?? Especially when there are others that would be better at the moderation practice.

And the new ADMIN never made his presence known until Ron mentioned him.

I only noticed because I happened to see ADMIN up top. Not having recognized the name, I checked the profile and it matched The Old Fart.

I plan to keep bringing this up as long as I have a voice here. This cloak and dagger stuff is getting really old and I have nothing to lose.

I wouldn't have known until the new "Admin" posted that questionable thread. It made him appear as if he had assumed the role of Board God or something. It's probably a good thing for them that I was so P.O.ed yesterday and didn't contact militaryspot.com right away. It gave them time to remove the offending thread. It's kind of tough to complain about something that ceased to exist, huh ??

That's just the problem.

No denigration of this site's operation on other forums. I understand that....

But in the position he's in, he can talk crap about any of us as a member in a forum we have no voice in and we can't respond in kind here.

I doubt it was a "glitch", unless you are talking mental glitches. Maybe Amvet isn't the only one suffering from PTSD ???

Sad part is...I really like this place and I think TOW has done a fine job putting it together. I don't want to see it run into the ground.

I'm just wondering how we can be free of the milcom style of operation by bringing former milcom staff in to manage?

That's my salient question.
