I am in the research stages of a book I will be publishing early March. We all know that the Army has its issues but my focus for my book will be Army Leadership:
Below are some of the areas that I am interested in learning about. I want to address these issues in the book, you don't have to respond to them all but if you can pick one or all out that you have a strong opinion on, I would love to hear the raw deal, nothing held back. This book is intended to make waves.

1. How has the Army Leadership changed over the years, and do you think it was for better or worse?

2. Why do you feel the soldiers have lost faith in the leadership?

3. If you are still in, or have recently gotten out of the military tell me about your chain of command and if you feel that they are fulfilling or had fulfilled their obligations as leaders.

4. We all know about the scandals that happen in the military, tell me your story.

5. Do you feel that the regulations are working for or against the soldiers?

6. Do you feel that the system we are using to promote soldiers to Non-Commissioned Officers is working or not working?

7. Tell me how your chain of command has let you down.

8. If you were in a bad situation, possibly facing UCMJ but you knew you were right or had done the right thing could you depend on your chain of command to back you.

9. If you had an issue with (family, peer/squad/platoon, health, work, etc.) how helpful is/was your chain of command in helping you?

10. Have you ever felt that you were treated unfairly by your chain of command? If so tell me your story.

These are just a few questions that I am covering in the first research phase of my study. I need my most outspoken, opinionated, concerned, frustrated, and just plain fed up soldiers, ex soldiers, spouses, and military brats to give me the real deal about what you have witnessed. Some of you may have some great info that I might want to quote in my book, or whose story I might want to tell, I will not do so without your consent and I will only use your name with your consent. For those I deem as experts I will refer to on an ongoing basis and hopefully I can talk to you one on one for an in depth look at your experiences. These experts will receive complimentary copies of my finished manuscript.
