By this logic we should occupy nearly half of Africa. While I would like to believe we could somehow establish peace in Iraq and reverse the ideology of millions, I remember that those that initiated the war were clumsy and careless, so we must now pay the price- defeat, and the terrorizing of those we sought to "protect". We passed the point of no return way back in 2004. We have destabilized the region and created anarchy. While I would also like to believe that our current economy and community could support a US Global Occupying Force™, it will not happen, as is the case with most democracies, which have an inherent problem with large-scale military occupations.

1. Pataloco, do you mean we should be occupying half of africa, or that the unreasonable logic of the video dictates we should be?
2. To be honest any video whose caption insults the veiwer couldn't be made by someone who is very smart.
3. You do realize WHY many of those militants are coming right? Because we are in iraq? Seriously it's jerks like the people who made this video and people who promote it that make me want to go to the anti-war side more and more (I am neutral currently)

I was agreeing with you Ronnec-- the whole post was pretty well thought out, and I agree. I don't know what Hyperion posts, as I have him on my ignore lists. He probably made some argumentative BS post. He doesn't agree with any point of view, he just likes to argue for the sake of it.
