American Cousins:
trust that you will enjoy the warmth of friends and family this weekend as you commemorate Memorial Day and all that it means to those who serve and have served. Given the turbulent times and the conflicts we face around the world, it is indeed a time to remember the sacrifice and to keep the 'Memorial' alive.. salute to all the Milspot buds and budesses out there from this crusty old Canuck.. the virtual beers are on me and, I hope Weatherman can supply you all with sunny skies for the backyard BBQ's with kith and kin.. Chimo/Rocketeer There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |

Memorial Day is yet another day to remember the brave American soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the USA, their homeland and its citizens. The three-day weekend is a solemn occasion to commemorate their bravery.
