The Red Arrows, the UK's most famous flying team have been told they are not invited to perform at the 2012 UK Olympics and people are in uproar over this.

We would like people from all over the world to support our petition to get the Olympic Committee to change their mind and with your help we can do this.

We would like you to go and sign our petition and leave a comment about why they should be invited and we will then send this onto the Olympic committee with all the comments that we are collecting and will also send this onto Gordon Brown The Uk PM.

um, Tim... as much as I admire precision aerobatic teams and jets blasting by over head, I'm not sure that this lack of an invitation seems to be all that important.. I mean, Beijing is mightily sensitive to all the complaints about pollution and such interfering orvdegrading their Olympic Games effort.. so. the idea of jet fuel guzzling, noisy supersonic fighters thundering low over the heads of a city which is hazardous enough, structurally, politically and otherwise seems a bit much..

I don't recall the Red Arrows flying over Athens, of Atlanta and I haven't heard of them coming to Vancouver for the next go round.. so..

Getting the Olympic Committe to change thier minds is like...well getting the UN to agree on anything that will have a substantial impact on world peace. (and then back it up)
