QUOTE: I wish they issued ELS and dishonorable discharges in a little certificate I could hang on my wall next to my silver degree numerous awards and soon my PE licence to show that military discharge types has nothing to do with success, military recruiters like to paint the picture that ELSed and OTH discharges are degenerate POS's/lower forms of life as to insinuate bums living on the street when the opposite is what is true.

PTSD Discussion
quote:

You may think im a POS because the military was not for me, but thats your opinion. My biggest complaint with the military is what they have done to other members who for what ever reason want to exit out of there contract early and the military stone walls them, its wrong, whether you want to see it or not, the biggest sin though is stop loss, especially stop lossing thoes that have served there full 8 years, just because you are entitled to destroy someones life contractually does not make it right or moral, thats why it is laughable when the military claims morality or honor, there is no honor in treating someone like an indentured servant just becasue they signed up and realized it was not for them.

C'mon....

And he has a claim in for PTSD from "hazing" in boot camp. This must be incredibly insulting to those who do suffer from PTSD? And ignorant (or not) of his actions and how they are perceived is no excuse. It's obvious he has no sense of decorum, nor responsibility for his actions. Enough is enough.

you're kidding, right?
where did re-nut-so say he's filing a PTSD claim for the ' hazing' he got in boot?.. Geez.. will that work??
I was traumatized yesterday at the supermarket when I saw a fat lady sniffing the cantaloupe and fondling the bananas...
should I sue?

rrpearso sure make this website a hoot to visit...

hope no one succeeds in getting that court order to have him committed to the looney bin too soon.. though after the PTSD enquiry by the MP's [ NCIS? ] I'm sure they'll prep a rubber room real quick...

Thanks to modern science I now know what repearso's problem is and I feel for him, It's not his fault...A new five-year study [ conducted, admittedly by French scientists so possibly suspect and biased ] of more than 2200 adults have found a link between obesity and cognitive function...

researchers found that people with a body mass index or 20 or less could recall 56% of words in a vocabulary while those with a BMI of 30 or higher could remember only 44%..the fatter the subject the higher the rate of cognitive decline..hormones secreted from body fat damage the cerebral cells resulting in decreased brain function..true scientific proof that fatheads exist..

and, as repreaso has admitted, he porked himself up to get out of military duty..this proves that he also dumbed himself down [ hence the lack of ingrish spel/speek goodness ]

One more reason he should be escorted to the rubber room at the nearest VA facility after the court martial for self-inflicted wounds [ deliberate self-abuse through blimping out ] to get out of duty...

Even though the military has already lost a quality member (myself), im glad command got there act together and tightened the choke chain on the NCO's that train the military. Lee Ermy scared away anyone who knows how to do anything remotly technical (and yes I understand there are a scatered few who can function technicly and who are crazy hardliners but there are not enough of them to run our whole military)

Although I havent seen any crack downs on the OCS and west point harsh treatment and hazing, I assume that will be next especially when democrats gain control of congress and the presidency and slowly put this country back together

Sammy:

while repearso has beenthe source of more than one chortle on my part over his inflated egotistical belief that he has the high moral ground and a clear vision of how the military should be run [ Repearso for Joint Chief?]...

it now appears that he and his ilk have established a beachhead in the reconfiguration of the military wherein Drill Sgts must say 'please' and 'thank you' in a quiet and polite voice and find less abusive means to encourage soldiers to jump out of slit trenches and charge an enemy pill box..

This can only further erode the fightingskills of the grunt and lead to the inevitable collapse of the American Empire.

BEFORE: Awright you f**kin maggots, git your sh*t together , we're going up and over, and any slimeball that fails to off at least two of the gawddamn enemy will get my size 11 up his festering a**!!

NOW: Um, would it be impolite of me to suggest that before those antagonisitc fellows over there throuw one of their bangy things at us that, perhaps, after you've finished your coffee and croissant, of course, we might all find it in ourselves to remove ourselves from these rather dusty holes and perhaps saunter over and chastise them quite correctly for their obviously agressive tendancies?

Im sure infantry basic and AIT are still hard, but this is a way of doing away with the infantry man treatment for radar technitians, fuel farm managers etc. There is no reason for that type of training for soft skilled MOS's and it looks like the military is no longer buying the excuse that your an infantry man first MOS second because most people that are capable of technical MOS's can not hack the infantry life but it does not mean they are not needed in the military. Unless you want infantry and then a whole bunch of contractors to fill the ranks of other MOS's

Ronald, just when I think that you have reached the pinnacle of stupid comments, you let us know that your knowledge of the military must come from a comic book. You have no idea of what the military does or how it does it because you were nothing while in and take great pains to let everyone know that whenever possible.

You show a complete lack of respect for people on this site and then have the temerity to wonder why we think you a blithering idiot. Not that you will ever understand.
