Do endless posts with the same opinion, same theme, repeated over and over, regardless of original thread question or statement make this individual a valid contributor to this site? Out of 648 posts has he really deviated much from his initial rant? Do you find yourself already knowing what he's going to say because you've already read it 600 + times?

Question:
Is he a valid daily contibutor to our site or not?

Choices:
yes
no

Question:
should the moderator step in?

Choices:
yes
no

Question:
would you consider dialog with rppearso if he posted anything that did not continue his consistant rant?

Choices:
yes
no

Who is the moderator? Maybe they could answer my very simple question, without snide personal opinions that do not address the question or detractions from the question. It is a very simple question and I dont think anyone in here is stupid so that leads me to believe that there is no real answer.

BTW cavscout, I talked to GI rights hotline and the military has to give me an ELS in abstentia, when they get around to doing it could be anytime but I am not required to be there in the main time. Pretty sweet deal ehe. Of course not everyone is so fortunate which is what my question is geared towards.

reality check....not every question has an answer. We've made multiple attempts to answer your question, and you flat out won't accept our responses.

Repost your question in the appropriate location, and stick with that thread until you get your answer. Stop hijacking every other thread with your rant. Can't make it any plainer than that. This is why you are on the receiving end of snide comments. Get your act together in here. You want to post about being a pilot, great post away. Just don't try and convince the rest of us that because you hold or are obtaining your private pilots license, that you are on the same level as our military pilots. As for your military experiences, you made the attempt and you are to be congratulated for that, but the reality is that you failed not only your country but yourself in the process. Live with it. As for your discharge in absentia....none in here really gives a rats ass whether you get it eventually or not. Thats on you to gain finality to that episode in your life. You are choosing to sit back and wait for it to be processed, and when it does, we will no doubt be hearing how they screwed you in the process.

response might be a little bit of a stretch.

I am leaving that thread to comments about the original post. If you would like to start a thread inviting everyone to flame you, then I would reply in said thread. Until then I plan on sitting back and watching you make an ass out of yourself.

A flag is just a flag, its the people that make a nation great, and just because a nation has a great history does not mean the same is true for its future. who knows in 30-40 yrs some other nation may step up to the plate and represent what this nation did 200 yrs ago

I get the impression that some of you on here think that the military can do no wrong just because there mission involves defense. People thinking about joining need to know thats the farthest thing from the truth.

PTSD Discussion
You may think im a POS because the military was not for me, but thats your opinion. My biggest complaint with the military is what they have done to other members who for what ever reason want to exit out of there contract early and the military stone walls them, its wrong, whether you want to see it or not, the biggest sin though is stop loss, especially stop lossing thoes that have served there full 8 years, just because you are entitled to destroy someones life contractually does not make it right or moral, thats why it is laughable when the military claims morality or honor, there is no honor in treating someone like an indentured servant just becasue they signed up and realized it was not for them.

Please?

rrpearso, get a life. Honestly. I wish the military gave you a dishonourary discharge.

I assume dishonourary is different from dishonorable, because these days it takes quite a bit more than AWOL (and im not even that) to get a dishonorable discharge. I wish they issued ELS and dishonorable discharges in a little certificate I could hang on my wall next to my silver degree numerous awards and soon my PE licence to show that military discharge types has nothing to do with success, military recruiters like to paint the picture that ELSed and OTH discharges are degenerate POS's/lower forms of life as to insinuate bums living on the street when the opposite is what is true.
