Hey guys can you all please take the time to sign this petition to help support veterans by having congress remove retroactive dates on military awards, please forward it to everybody on your mailing list... Thank you

While I applaud the effort here, what counts is getting veterans DD-214 updated. Keeping retroactive dates allows for the veterans to apply for the award to get DD-214 updated. DD FORM 149, SEP 2007 is the path to accomplish that action. All the veteran has to do is intitiate the request.
