Not true, it's likely not many knew how to respond to your situation. I sure didn't and I didn't think you needed comments from one who doesn't have a clue about what you are having to deal with. I would however offer up one opinion and that is you probably should have left the sexual assault in your medical records. Those records were evidence supporting your future claims for PTSD. I hope you at least retained them.

Hope you can find help in getting through this. Being a victim is nothing to be ashamed of. Its not something that you will be able to forget either. Sadly it doesn't work that way.

did your claim of PTSD from boot camp ever go anywhere?

I was let out so I did not have to file it, if I were to have been forced to stay in I would have been making many a trip to the TMC. I would have also claimed that the weekend drills were messing with my civilian job because I would be drained and stressed out from being hazed during the drill weekend so I would have been in and out of the TMC and the chaplins office for one weekend a month. I dont have these problems unless im in a hostile enviornment in which I can not take any action to eliminate the stressors.
