I dident see anything in there but references to a non existant article so I have no idea what that post is suppost to foreshadow. Indisputable facts about a specific event does not mean that that event did not occure through scheems put into motion by thoes who would profit in some way from the war.

Vietnam happened but the excuse (the gulf of tonkin) for escalation never happened, we got into a war in Vietnam over nothing. The same thing is happening now with Iran, US vessels are taunting iranian vessels to get them to do something (fire a few shots whatever) so we can justify another war without end this time with a draft and price tag that will send this country into a resecion so deep we will be a 2ond world nation, if we continue to fight wars with our hands tied it will be our end.

So in summary its not the events in question, its the excuse for initiating the event that is in question. I believe the US government would sacrafice the trade center people to get there anti terror bill passed because they have done far worse in the past, 1200 people in the trade center plus 3000 in iraq is nothing compared to Vietnam but this is just the beginning.

repearso, you are right. In a way all wars are stupid. Think about the latest event in Georgia. Thousand people die because a stupid leader sends them into war against mighty Russia. I even volunteered for Vietnam back in 67 (can you imagine that?). But back then I didn't know it was stupid. So, man is the thinker of his times, I was. But in the end I won. Yes, because the intent was to make Vietnam democratic. And as you can see today it is (half ass?). So, in the end the US won the war.
