I found this fantastic website by browsing the web. I was a little bored with another military forum, so I decided to do a search to see if any new ones had been started, and I stumbled upon this one! Big Grin Cool

I was getting tired of the way things were going on mil.com and the way some posters were trying to take over so I left and found this one.

I don't blame you, there are many who do not like the direction mil-dot had taken. Many more will leave too, lets hope we can make a place for them here. This place has potential!!

One of your illustrious Moderators told me about this site. Abn_Dad sent me an email telling me about it. Let's hope it takes root very quickly.

From what it looks like it will take root very quickly. From the looks of our members now, they seem to be good people who are willing to keep this place going. For that I am very excited and can't wait to see what this place has in store.

I got an e-mail from this old geezer I know, thought I would check it out.

I still like to go to mil.com, but this place seems a little better-behaved...for now... Big Grin

(It also seems to run about ten times faster, and a little more user-friendly - BZ)

You know, we could use a couple of pot stirrers over here. Someone the likes of RIML maybe? I don't care much for a couple of people over on the other side of the net, but most are pretty good peeps. Has anyone notified Frank, BSR or any of the real mentats over there?

I invited RIML . . . Big Grin

I thought we needed some color!! He always made me laugh, and mad too, but you know, I respected that man greatly. He put up with a lot, and come back with style and grace. I think towards the end, he just kinda didn't give a rat's azz anymore!! Too bad, I thought he was good people. Ron and I talk on the phone from time to time, but I am thinking I should give him a call soon just to see what he's doing.

You guys know who are good people, and intellegent debate opponents. Invite who you think would be an asset not an azz!! I invited everyone I had email addresses for: some have emailed back and said they were leaving the forum world, others came staright away in hopes to make a good place better. I think it would work . . .
