My opinion is that they shouldn't even be an option.
If I'm correct, the Admin can set permissions to disallow polling until a member accrues a certain karma level. I'll ask about that too. |

Sounds like a good idea Hal.
Norm, I think it pathetic and immature to keep resurecting oneself on a message board. Believe it or not bud, your not impressing anyone with your act(s). Yeah, it does give a message board a bad name. |

Just a comment:
A little reality blast here: We are basically anonymous posters in cyberspace, which is not a place, but a technological thing. It is only 'something' if we make it so. Now, I know that HAL (the original one as well) doesn't believe that. But c'mon this ain't anything to lose sleep over. Jet powered ground pounder from the old days |

When you have one board with multiple banned members with things to say and another board where people can do exactly that with impunity, you have a recipe for a damnned good time.
I'm glad to be here and I say nothing is off limits. Why should it be. Somebody have something to hide? Like say... their face? No more censorship. No more opressive Mods. No more attack dogs. No more cheerleaders No more Clicks No more treating human beings like pieces of shit No more gag orders No more BS. Awesome. Everyone knows who I am. "Don't Tread On Me" |

Norm, I have seen many, many people be given warnings on Mil.com. Heck I have had a couple lately myself. I heeded them and all is good.
Matter of fact even people you mention have been, and have Heeded the warnings. I do not speak for Mil.com or for the Moderators. I speak for myself about how I feel on any given subject that I feel strongly about. You have been acting like a spoiled little brat who has his favorite toy taken away. Your persistant disruptive behavior was your doom, nothing more, nothing less. I do not agree with evryone there, never have. I was a Moderator/Admin on a very active Political Site last year. I have a pretty good idea how difficult that job can be. I do not know how they reach the decision to ban someone there, and it is none of my buisness. I do know, you had it coming, you deserved it, and you will keep getting banned there as long as you keep going there. As to personalities, I am not going to get into discussing others there except to say this, I respect GW and Stevenford a whole lot more than I do you. I respect their Service, andwhat they have to contribute in discussions. Don't always agree with them by any means, but you very think that maybe, just maybe you brought it upon yourself with them? Of course not, it is always the other guys fault with you isn't it? There are only a couple people here that were banned that I "miss". You aren't one of them. |

Whatever Norm, see you or one or more of the "mature crowd" are still at it. Y'all just don't get it. You wear this as some badge of honor, patting each other on the back like a bunch of school kids who pulled a Prank on their teacher. I am so impressed, NOT!

Norm, noticed you just told AlphaDog to let it go on another issue. Why not take your own advice? Ok for you to tell people what to do, but not for you to be told? The good old "Do as I say, not as I do" routine? Pathetic man, take your owned damned advice and let it go.
