just a quick question, I have a G.E.D. and plan on joining the us army, the recruiter said there are only limited time openings that you can join the military when you have a GED , is this true? and with the low recruiting numbers should I worry about not being able to join in a month?
thanks One Hand On The Balls |

Glad to see that you have your GED. That is still a plus in most everyones book. The recruiter is really the one to answer that, and generally if they can do it, they will. You might check out all the different services. One of them may make you an offer you can't refuse.....

You could probably join the navy without a problem with a GED, and get just about any job you want if you do well on the ASVAB. I have 2 friends who are now officers who enlisted with GEDs.
