English is such an amusing lingo...when you said '...enemy soles'  I pictured jarheads hurling their 'obsolete black combat boots' at the pearly gates 'iraqi style'...   (I'd bet your russian bride can identify...BTY how bout posting a pix?...she's a 'bombshell' I'm sure.) You know I never saw the term of endearment 'Leathernecks' ...wonder where that one orginated? AND...REGULAR ARMY chow?...maybe the corned beef IS 'SOLE FOOD'. I always was anxious when the 'SOS' was 'served up' in the mess 'haul'. another seen at St. Peter's gate (what a bouncer he makes)...at least there's 'hope'...
