I think that you are spreading your hatred for the military and that is wrong. If not for that I would never care what you say. What you experenced in your short time in the military should never be forced on the rest of the world. Maybe I was wrong to put the ban poll together but you made me mad with your constant speech of putting down the military to all the young people that came on the forum asking questions about joining the service. You are wrong to force your views on them and us. I am sorry that it didn't work out in your case but you don't need to try and force it down the throats of the one's that want to join. I am done with this subject.

I will say this it also screws up a conversation when you are constanly in fighting and complaining about poor repperso and his short imprisonment in Boot Camp.

Im not forcing anything down anyones throat, im simply telling them the truth and countering the deceptive advertising put on by the military and the candy coating that recruiters tell people. Most recruiters are so full of crap its not even funny other wise they would never make a sale, why dont they have people "sign the dotted line" after basic and see how many people you have left.

Coachman I knew what you meant I have had rrepperso on my ignore list for over a year sometimes I have to open his post to understand what everyone is talking about.Some of the post he sidetracks are very important to me and it bugs me esp. about our Military.I try to find anything positive about our Military and post it God knows we see enough negative every day and don't see any daylight in site.

Hey guy's I made it back from vacation and as this is the first thread I saw, I figured I'd toss my response out there. As he is still on my ignore list as well, I haven't seen any of his responses, I see he has responded more than a few times......I have to say that he does have the right to post what he wants about the military. We all view things differently, the vast majority of us remember and post both the good and the bad about our own experiences pretty much daily in here. I know I do. Sure it pisses me off when he posts his rant to those coming here for advice, hopefully they see his responses for what they are....not everyone is suited for the military. If his responses help keep someone who is like him from joining and making the same mistakes, then great. There are more than enough problem military members serving right now as it is. (reference to those videos showing Marine or Soldier tossing a puppy off a cliff and acts such as that)

If Admin hasn't acted on banning him, its because he hasn't really violated the rules setup by the owners of this site. I can only hope that at some point in rppearso's life, his military service and his actions resulting from his limited experience comes back to haunt him. Kind of like the flag burners. They have the right to burn it legally, I just would like to see them wrap themselves up in it before they light it off....

Your right gunny I did the deed and I guess I should have left it alone but he did get me PO'd with his trash I should have put him on ignore in the begining but didn't. I know everyone has the right to run off at the mouth but I was pissed.

Coachman...ain't nothin to be apoligizing to us for! He pisses me off just about every one of his posts. I'd have to look hard to find one that didn't piss me off!

So how was your vacation?

Wasn't too bad, put 5K miles on the new van I had bought for the wife, got to see mom and dad, and the 58 T-Bird in the garage. Almost hit a deer on I-40 coming back at 1 am in Oklahoma. Scared the bejesus outta me seeing 4 or 5 deer just standing in the grass looking across my lanes! Just knew one or more of them were gonna leap out there. Luckily they didn't at least until I got past them. I think one or more of them did after I past them as the line of cars behind me all came to a halt in the rearview mirror.

Stopped off at Ft Haurucha exit at the Mescal Bar for a few rounds at 8am (its right off the freeway)....wife was driving so I allowed myself to indulge a bit...her driving scares me more than seeing those deers!

The Gunny We're Glad you're back. You might try installing onto a side mirror one of those deer whistles you can get at the truck stops.
I've used one...don't know if it really works but it makes me feel like I'm doing something about the problem...and I've never hit a deer although I've hit the occassional wild turkey.
