Hello, I am new to this forum, but I just wanted to let the military community know about a certain company that sells mounted ribbons and medals online, they are often found on the very top of google, and I admit they are one of my competitors, and I have no problem with competition, but it makes me mad to know they have such a bad record with the BBB, especially when it involves doing business with military members. I am prior service and my husband is active duty AF. Cautionary Statement for Armed Forces Personnel:

Complaints received by the BBB against The Military Company have been lodged by active duty personnel, retired service members, and relatives of service members. The company's file reflects a pattern of complaints indicating that medals have not been shipped by the business within the timeframe promised and that efforts to contact the company by telephone or e-mail about the status of orders have been unsuccessful. The BBB has a substantial number of pending complaints that have not yet been answered. These pending complaints are in addition to complaints reflected in this report, which are beyond the BBB’s normal timeframe for receiving a response from businesses and which have therefore been closed as “unanswered.”

Let the buyer beware.

I don't buy online services unless I have checked them out thoughly. I certainly don't send money to folks that I don't know for anything. I also don't buy anything that is sold at my doorstep. If I want anything, I go shopping for them. I don't buy items from mailers, I don't even read mailers but just simply trash them or send them back though the mail with return to sender written on the face of it. My mailman has learned exactly what my last name is and it isn't occupant.
