i am in search of a male service member, who has a daughter, and who's wife passed in january due to cancer. the only thing i know, is the either he or his daughter is in either idaho or oregon. either way, TMK he is not in the same state as his daughter. currently, his wife's parents have his daughter. there is a posting on a legal forum, where his wife/wife's parents were able to keep him from knowing alot of things during the last 4 years, and have also been able to keep him from taking his daughter back after learning his wife had even died to begin with. i know this is a long shot. but this member is apparently unaware that the notarized affidavit his mother in law has is absolutely worthless, and that he needs to seek legal counsel and get his child back. unfortunately, i do not have a branch of service, anything. only that he has a daughter, and a wife that abandoned him, who later died this past january of cancer. and also, that his mother in law has illegal custody of his child. whoever he is, he went to see his daughter and took the police, but the police took the affidavit of custody and made it tut to the servicemember that he does NOT have custody/rights to his daughter, when in fact he does. the wife's family is apparently attempting to usurp his parental rights, and get a court to grant the maternal grandparents full custody, based on an unfounded abandonment claim against him. i say unfounded, b/c the wife's step mother has made it very clear, that while they all know the paper is invalid the servicemember is unaware of his parental rights. several of us were concerned and hoping the post is/was fake, but it is becoming increasingly apparent they were able to use this mans naiveness against him. if you think you can help get the word out, please do so. this is the only forum i put this onto, as i've been unable to retrieve my login info for cinchouse. thank you very much!

Hmmm, sounds like a pretty sad situation all the way around. I can understand your concern for the situation, but shouldn't this service member be the pone pursuing this? We in here can't offor up much halp regarding this just based on what you have described.
You might be better off performing searches on the net with his name and other revelant information that you do know. This is assuming you don't have or use his SSN. Heck, google yourself and see what type of info shows up. Can't hurt. Oh yeah, and for the login to CINCHOUSE.COM login issue? If you didn't set a password reminder, best option is to create a new account, and utilize the password reminder link this time. I didn't see an option to have your account reset via email. Lastly click on the link to the webmaster of the site. They should be able to get you back into the original user account? SEMPER FI The Gunny PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL America is not at war. To be brief and to the point.
As you posted on another topic, you are posting AS THE WIFE of the screen named member... Is this correct? Are you the Next of Kin/related to the deceased family member? This site is unable to be of any assistance whatsoever, as you have not provided any useful information to even initiate any viable searches. Even so, this site does not have the programmable capability to initiate such searches. What I advise you to do is as follows: If you are the immediate family of the deceased, and are able to prove as such, contact the closest American Red Cross Chapter and inform them of this problem. If you have ANY information as to the branch of military the 'father' is in, go to the nearest Recruiting Office of said service branch, and request assistance. Admin, if you ask me this whole thing seems odd. Firstly why does this service member not know what is going on with his own family? Unless he is deployed there should be no reason that he does not know that his parents are trying to take his kid away. Secondly why on Earth does the poster to the forum not give a name/branch/m.o.s?
Am I off base in anyway? |

Kali...
The originator of this topic posted material that makes about as much sense as letting loose a clowder of cats at Pike Place Market...and letting them be invited to Ivar's on the Waterfront. Thus far, 'she' has failed to respond to my reply. I'm going to let this topic remain as is for the time being. Admin, glad to know that I wasn't missing anything, and well put! It seems weird that if someone is going to need to find someone so bad that they would at least give us a name to go by. I am not sure that ‘she’ will ever reply, but we shall see.
By the way... I had read some of the earlier posts from when the forum was new and it seems that some joker thinks you are a "bully". Thus far I have to disagree with him. I find you a great admin/host. Keep up the good work! *tosses you a shot of whisky* |
